š¦I practiced as a full time artist for more than five years. It was an exercise in becoming accustomed to solitude, at times beautiful. Perhaps I grew accustomed but never comfortable. And I know itās different for each personā¦some of us are introverts, some extraverts and some ambiverts. For me, community has always been an inner drive, a need, so collaboration became my MO (modus operandi). But truthfully collaboration can be tricky, it requires balance, savvy, patience, persistence and an ever increasing understanding of power dynamics to mention a few. š«Over the course of my practice as an artist, starting a gallery, engaging as an academic, social entrepreneur and working as a regional arts administrator, Iāve learnt a thing or two about this process. Iād love to share what Iāve learnt with you and we would love to hear your experiences. šSubmit your collaborative project for The Meeting Place Festival and/or šJoin us for our FREE MASTERCLASS on the Synapse Frontier Collaborative Model. ***You can submit here: https://lnkd.in/eZRFESwb š”To join the free MASTERCLASS, register on The Meeting Place Community and create a post āIām IN #SYNAPSEFRONTIER ***Join the platform by clicking the link below! https://lnkd.in/dpzPJ59n
